Spent my time inside hiding away from the storm outside making 4 fabric snippet strips, really enjoyed it. Only have very bright material from patchwork days but still look lovely. Also dug out my old Singer sewing machine, remembered how to thread it etc 🤣 so now I can do stitching on the snippets and journalling pieces 😊👏 so pleased, feel like I'll be making some better pieces 💕

Lol I just made my first two snippet rolls from paper, I'm definitely trying this!! I was just thinking you're moving like your nails are wet 🙊🙈🙊. I made my paper ones too uniform and matching🙈 look good though. An old sheet would be great for bases, no joining. Lol we can cope with a little camera wobble and a few threads 😁. You've used LOADS of scraps! Looking forward to seeing it finished. Hope storm Eunice isn't hitting you too hard, Dudley wasn't too bad here. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖

Hint Here!! To dry your nail polish right away. Stick your nail in ice water for a few moments. That will harden the polish. Sound strange but it works.

I hope that you found a Cricut iron for you I have a place on my Roku where I can watch The Craft Store, and though they don't often have a Cricut segment I know they sell them on what they call Flexi Pay. I got mine off of the same kind of show here in the states. Hugs !

Here is the US they have nail polish that dries within a minute, do you have that there, I’ve used it & like it, I can’t use the other because I can’t wait till it dries good enough & always mess it up & I hate that! Love your snippet, it’s cute! Love your top from what I can see of it! Hugs!🥰

What glue are you using? Can you sew over that glue?

It’s just regular pva type bases glue, yes the sewing machine goes over it fine x
