I just made some of these, thank you for sharing this idea! When I did mine, I just laid my fringe strips out on my glitter paper and glued them down just like you did, and THEN I punched out the shapes. I actually did hearts and flowers- I got quite a few done in about half the time 🤭. Of course, you have to be sure that your punch can handle the thickness but so far my fiskars punches seem to be holding up. I will say though, I definitely need to buy some fringe scissors because doing all of that fringe by hand just about killed this old lady, lol.

I’m pretty sure those scissors are just called fringing scissors and you should be able to get them from Spotlight or haberdashery supply stores. Usually used for fabric (I think). 😊

Those are called fringe scissors or sometimes they're called herb scissors 😉.
