My favourite day of the week. Sipping coffee and watching yours and Kylie's beautiful, and inspiring, videos. Your pages always come together so beautifully. I really must try to use more colour. The yellow page with that beautiful paper bag background is amazing. I actually loved it with the strong yellow, which surprised me, but when you distressed the edges it looked even more amazing, which has taught me that I could use colour and tone it back a bit. Thank you for sharing Nina x On a side note: Art is meant to be fun and has no rules. It's personal and comes from the soul and heart. I'm glad you addressed the rude critiquers, but it's a shame you were put in that position. I never understand why people critique channels full stop. It's the only thing about Social Media that I can't stand. The great thing about KZbin is that we can choose what we watch to inspire us and if they don't, because they don't resonate with us, then we can seek out someone who does. No need for rudeness, just move on. That's the good thing about the group. Everyone is so nice and you have more control over who takes part. Rant over ;) x

Well said. There are a few crafter's whom I follow on KZbin and I'd never be rude to anyone, if I'm not keen on someone, I'd just watch someone else, and never dream of putting someone down, just because they aren't my 'cup of tea'. There are sadly people out there who just go on to social media to be rude or put people down - they must have very low self esteem. I always say, it is so easy to be kind to people and so hard to go out of your way to be nasty. Strange world isn't it, but I suppose all these things make the world go round!!

I try to add a nice Quote or positive word to each page. So today I felt I would share my quote. Just in case anyone else likes quotes. It is a stamp so can’t give the author. Quote for my journal and day. “Share a bit of kindness to brighten your day”. Not only does kindness brighten our day but the person you are kind to as well. We your viewers should always remember this is a gift from you. We need to be Grateful for each artist who shares with us and be KIND with our shared comments. Thank you. Love what you did today.

Good morning nina, how time flies, remember you starting this journal and look at it now, all filled up with beautiful pages, todays pages are a lovely addition once again. The playing with all sorts of paper images is what I like most, always on the look for those and sometimes i can't bring myself to throw away the smallest of pieces, because I like looking at them. Good morning Lena. This has been my favourite journal to work in of all the ones I’ve done so far. It’s got that vintage vibe, but also with the bright colours that I’ve always enjoyed so much. I’m glad you enjoy seeing me fiddle around with backgrounds, as I think that’s what makes the pages interesting. I often think my pages are ridiculously simplistic, but I guess it’s just having the right pieces to form the one total piece. It is a beautiful day here, but I won’t be mowing the lawn today as I’ve run out of petrol and have no desire to sit in a queue for hours. It will wait until next week when hopefully the fuel crisis is well and truly over. I will pick up fallen apples instead, and then make a delicious crumble. I can't believe what lovely papers you seem to pull out of your stash from all kinds of places... bags, pouches, prints and just generally what people have sent you.... So colourful... I, like you, love the vintage feel but with colour.... You do a fab job with these lovely pages, I always enjoy seeing what comes out each time you create them. And as for comments that are rather rude I quite agree, no need for it at all... I'm always polite in comments, if I don't like something I don't say anything at all.... I know that is difficult, but I am sure you have more loyal, kind followers than the critical ones. When I was working, we used to have evaluations by our peers and I used to obsess over the negative comments, even the ridiculous ones! It is hard not to, but it does no good in the long run. Fortunately, I know longer even remember them. I hope you can come to that point soon. You create such beautiful artwork!

I'm glad you saved some of the brusho paper it is so pretty, I like the ginkgo leaves napkin too.I agree Nina some people are soo rude, so good on you for your comment. Love the joules paper bag, I thought it was wallpaper would love a wall covered in it. The butterfly just finished the page.!! Like the scented sachets and drawer liners I quite often get them on special and use the paper for crafting.I also keep the coloured paper from florist bouquets. I am a collector of all kinds of pretty junk. Magazine cuttings, soap packaging, wine labels, gift wrap, paper bags, cards I’ve been sent ……. Therefore junk/scrap journaling is a way for me to display my collection. I hope you enjoyed seeing the pages come together 💕
