owned 3 929's in the last 15 years, last one for 10 years solid. They really stand up well to the salt and shit of winter riding too. Almost looks like the day I bought it with now 62K on it. Superb bike.

The 16 inch front wheel was only on 1992-1999 carbed blades. 2000 onwards like the one in the vid have the 17 inch front Not sure how the buyer can comment on reliability after one test ride...... love blades though, have a 2000 929 myself and love it :D

@@alexstewart2247 I have the best colour/livery lol, Lightning blue and Violet Y2k E1, whish they done an F2 in the same design and colours for me to buy, going to be a very sad day that I have to say goodbye to it. And they are good for 0-60 in 3 secs and 170-180 top end, and that is stock. Mine is awesome to ride, so much power and torque as soon as you touch the throttle, despite 144bhp(+now) and 101Nm torque(+now). People focus too much on the power figure (higher power only means a little more top end). Still it does also depends on gearing (and weight) on all bikes, through to final drive, these keeps with bikes with quite a bit more power and a bit more torque.

@@HalfdeadRider yup awesome bikes 👍 Also you need to remember the zx9r was the first stock production motorcycle to run the 1/4mile in under 10 seconds running a 9.9 seconds @136mph. It also used to beat the R1 from the same era in top speed test runs in many cases despite being 100cc down! So underrated for the time and even today that's why I love it and never getting rid of mine, love the nostalgia, looks and analogue of the bike to much. I wouldn't swap it for any of todays new flash stuff anyway. I think these are cooler and more of a talking point and in the real world can hang with new bikes no problem. Wont find another bike that will give you this much bang for your buck anyway

LOL I stopped the video to make a comment at the moment she said she had crashed 2 bikes, and thought she doesn't need another bike. I have never laid down a bike, I dropped my first bike about 4 times, but it was a 600cc enduro and I am tiny, I ride a Bandit 1200cc now and have not had a problem because I learned on my 600 before i felt like upgrading....If I had crashed I think I would have just stopped riding until I fixed my bike not thought hmmm the bike is the problem its not good enough for me lets go bigger! lol

The guys not got a clue, the 929rry Fireblade in question has a 17inch front wheel, not 16. 16inch wheels were standard on blades before the 929rry.

I have got ZX-9R 2000 model, brakes are powerful, yes maybe touchy but they are very good brakes. I have been riding it on track and road last 2-3 years and its fantastic bike for the money i paid, around 2.1k euros or back in the 2014 2.8k$ (today 2.2k$). One thing is shure, this bike eats brakepads, i'm running softer pads to increase disc life.

Am somewhat disappointed that Clair doesn't respond emotionally to the living, breathing Buell engine. Me, I want an upright riding position. And TBH, on public roads, the PERFORMANCE would hardly matter, would it? They all accelerate from nought to 62 in less than 5 seconds. And even the Buell will storm to 100 mph pdq.
