I've had my 2019 Premier since brand new and am still in love with it. Thank you GM, you've created a masterpiece!

I have a 2023 Bolt EV and I love it to death. I don't drive it that far so I charge it about once a week in my garage. Congratulations on your purchase.! 🚙🇺🇸🔌⚡

I have a '23 Bolt Lt euv, and with some homework about where chargers are, I'd drive it anywhere. On the road, I don't bother trying to charge past 80%, as charging goes from slow to abysmal. It's interesting how much extra range you get driving 100 vs 110kph. Interesting about the BC Hydro chargers not working, as I've always had them work (Vancouver Island). BTW, when I get to Chevron chargers, I turn on wifi, bluetooth, and gps on my phone, and re-start it; if I don't, the Journie app often doesn't work. I always keep the evse that came with the euv in the hatch, for emergency charging on a trip. I only charge past 90% -- hilltop reserve on early Bolts -- if I really need it.

Oh also, get the bc hydro, flo, and chargepoint cards, as the apps won't work if there isn't wifi at the charger, but the cards will work.

“EV empathy“?

Great video and enjoy your Bolt. IMO any household that has at least 2 cars, should have one of them EV. Charging from the wall at home is so cheap, that even a Nissan Micra looks too expensive to drive 200-300 km a day.

Best part is that the Chevy dealer gave me the latest 240V 32A wall charger. Installing a 240V plug in the garage soon!

Excellent choice if you commute 100-150 miles daily within your home and charge overnight in your garage. Any other types of travel would be painful. Unfortunately, we are all living in a fast-paced society, so time is very limited. I just don't have the time and patience to constantly look for a charger station and see how many km/mile I got left. Until car manufacturers result range anxiety and fast/reliable charging, no EV for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if more than 90% of people in North America have a daily commute of less than 150 miles. The average is around 30 miles in the US.

You said it maxes out at 40 kw at the end of the video but showed it charging at the correct amount earlier in this video at 50 kw.

Yes, correct. I meant 50. My newer charging video explains it better.

Best appliance of a car ever. But perhaps that’s just it - don’t expect exciting once the EVness wears off.
