There's a growing demand for coal alternatives ("biocoal" or suitable briquette) for use in railroad steam locomotives, coal-fired boilers, etc.

I can't see the point in it . .. you use more energy in making the product to use the product .if it was sustainable green energy to make the product the yes .wind turbines. solar .hydro power .then it's free energy to make free energy .but to use energy to make energy its a no brainer. Yes its getting rid of the waste but at what cost to the environment. The solution is to go back to reusable nappies Terry's towels back in the day .yes we all needed to use the old twin tub washing machine back in the 80s but with the advance washing machine we have today washing is quicker and and alot easier. Yes still need to put the poo into the toilet from the reusable nappies. But also need to train the children faster to poty training and at a earlier age to reduce the washing of the nappies. Or you can bring out a low tax bracket for using the nonreuseable nappies in helping with the billions of nappies use to build recycling plants that run on free energy to recycle them .

Used diapers can only be incinerated as garbage. But because it contains water, it needs to add heavy oil to support combustion, which is very expensive and pollutes the environment. Recycling used diapers is an environmental protection project.
