It is especially impressive that it was a driver here in the US, where we aren't used to these speeds. We don't look for cars going 100+ MPH. In Germany with the autobahn, it's second nature to expect high speeds from other cars - but they aren't coming from a random direction, they are behind you or in the leftmost lane.

@aziivo50122 жыл бұрын
@@WiZArdx4s Not in this situation because of the two lane gap between 981 & the black bmw in the left lane, not to mention the Honda pilot had nowhere to go when 981 rolled up. When riding up one someone yes you can flash you beams, but typically you wanna use your signals/blinkers because of divots/slight bumps and elevations/declines in the road can give the illusion of someone flashing their high-beams. When in reality they were not. Flashing beams may actually provide even more of a miscommunication if the left or right lane is available to the person you riding up on. You don't know which way they'd merge and your speed may spook them into a flinch move. So most I'd use high-beams for is to communicate with oncoming traffic if there is a cop around a corner, to race or remind someone their lights are not on at all. I used to drive like this, many close calls later I decided to take it easy. ironically, one day I was taking it easy going 35 mph on a residential street and some Karen turned left in front of me, which totaled my car. I had a green light, she just misjudged the distance on the left turn. used the insurance money to buy a cheap Miata and now I drive on the highway like a very good cookie. I strive to be predictable and keep with the flow of traffic, though admittedly sometimes speeding a little. it's no longer fun for me to swerve through traffic like a NASCAR track. but perhaps that's just me, I prefer to drive fast and almost die on the *mountain pass* now, I have much more fun carving the canyons and occasionally drifting so anyway the moral of the story is: *be safe, and godspeed brother*

my epic saga someone may learn from - I knew a driver who did this for years because it was so much fun, and was even more of a thrill for him to lose those flashing lights behind him because he could dip off and cut back roads unlike anyone else. His cardinal rule was to never look at 3 or 6 o'clock. Over 80mph his depth perception would get skewed and he only looked at his front back and side views. But a couple years ago he was racing a viper who took the left lane with no traffic ahead and he was cutting the right two and three lanes. For some ridiculous by-chance reason, he looked at 3 o'clock when he was slipping between a semi and SUV and he saw what had to have been twins in two car seats and their mother driving. He saw her scream and the look of horror on her face and she hit the brakes (when there was no reason to because I had at least three feet clearance front and back). It was at that moment he realized that even though his judgement was great and reading other drivers' intentions and anticipations for their next moves was easy, that he couldn't anticipate how they'd react to corners being cut too close to them. That's when I realized I would only do what I had to do out of necessity, and not for fun. Had she hit the brakes and kept them locked up and the semi behind her had slammed into them, that would have been my fault. The decisions I made were not just between my bumper and the ones I was cutting through and what I thought their next move would be, it expanded to so many more variables. The variables that take place long after I'd cut through whoever and whatever I had to. Every driver I've known like me has had some sort of wake up call, whereas others' luck had caught up to them. I used to hate it when people called me a reckless driver because I was calculating my moves. But calculating such extensive variables is the same as gambling. Just don't let your gambling affect anyone else because I realized that day that I was reckless.

This channel and its viewers / commenters have left me BAFFLED. It is insane to me that people are actively supporting putting other peoples lives in danger with the excuse of “he’s a good driver” or “cars are safer nowadays”. It is INEVITABLE that the owner of this channel is going to get into a crash, and could easily get someone killed, and a whole family mourning. Even if the victim doesn’t die in the crash, their car is still totalled and mainly, they would be INJURED. Who ever thinks that it’s ok to hurt people as long as you don’t kill them?? Medical bills and long lasting health issues are awful to live with. After this channel I’ve lost a bit more hope for humanity, especially because it inspires others to drive like this too.

I've been watching you content for a while now, and from what I'm seeing is that as time goes on, your driving less carelessly, not to say that I'm a safe driver, but there's a line that shouldn't be crossed, do you your maneuvers around cars, but cmon dude, you're going too fast, not every driver you're passing is an experienced one, some day a karen might decide to change lanes while you're going 120 mph and then what? How about if you lose control or something and you risk someone's life, There's a bunch of children who got a hold of their driving's license and get inspired by your content and decide to do this, meanwhile the difference is that you're sort of good at this, but those kids have no idea what they're doing.
