@@ChasingLatitudes Unfortunately, the only 43's listed on YachtWorld are in Europe. There are none available in North America including the Caribbean. Guess the Beneteau 423 is still at the top of my short list.

yes, just depends on the layout is all, often the older 30 footers are far harder than a newish 40 plus footer

KZbinr Sailing with Thomas singlehands in a Bavaria 55. His buddy boater Kylie singlehands with her Beneteau 50. They did the Med, now in Caribbean prepping for the Pacific. There is a Lady Sailing Magic Moana who sails a 47 Nautitech Cat. Can be done.

What I'm seeing are a lot of mono hull sail boat deals. Almost none in the catamaran side. This seems to be an increasing trend over the years. To me that's very telling. Stay on both and you will find your answer as to why.
