What a fabulous horse. What a tremendous ride. This horse is worth every ounce of gold in the world. This brought tears to my eyes. What horseback riding is all about.

What a lovely rider -- cross country at this level never looks very pretty, but she guided this horse through a very difficult course with a confident and gentle hand. Look at those loose reins when he's allowed to gallop forward! And a good pat on the neck after every combo. Wonderful partnership.

I thought this as well. I was very impressed with how quietly she was riding and how she and her horse were so in tune with each other.

This is absolutely insane...The amount of skill, not only in the rider, but the horse. The amount of training this must have taken is immense, to get a horse to cooperate willingly would have to take so much trust and such a bond...One of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life, let alone KZbin. This is overwhelming to watch.

The riders balance was so good! She could of fallen off on so many but she effortlessly floated in the saddle. And the horse glided across that terrain.

This was, in my opinion, 1 of the toughest Rolex courses I think i have ever seen! (And, well, the stats from xc seem to agree with me!) What an incredible ride!

Am not an eventer but like to watch and here were a lot of tight turns to big solid fences, tight combinations, and really strange roses in he ground. Lots of people standing really close, too. This has got to be hard to do because have to ride into corners, slow, get brough combinations and then a gallop again. Glad am not an eventer. I like pretty painted poles in a ring thank you very much

Rises- not roses- almost like steps built into the ground. What a lot to think about.

Absolutely gorgeous ride in every way. I'm glad to see everyone commenting on those loose reins and the praise this rider gives her horse! What a great team.

What’s that white stuff on your horses leg?
@martinatscherner68616 жыл бұрын
A lotion to protect it from scratches when it jumps over fences (as far as I know)
@L.C1236 жыл бұрын
Pepper_Pach _ It's a type of grease to help the horse to slip over bush,wood ect fences and it's also like a protective thing

When did it become acceptable for the spectators to have more space than the competitors- I realize that this was 6+ years ago, but XCountry was supposed to be- country. For a rider to gauge not just the fences and terrain but also the crowds and a clothes-line fence? I'm glad that i left it back when we were safe just wearing Caliente helmets and long sleeves

You can knock down a marker flag and as long as jumped it , is no penalty?
@johnelkins25916 жыл бұрын
as long as the horses shoulders make it through the flag before it's knocked of it incurs no penalties.
@L.C1236 жыл бұрын
No the flag docks mark if the horse hasn't landed before the flag is knocked down :)
@kaitlyndavis99016 жыл бұрын
If the horses shoulders have passed through the flags then it’s legal
