At that price...just get the roll of bubble wrap and apply it to it on its own. Or a towel. Or old newspapers. O just put it on the seat (and don't get into an accident)... There's literally no reason to buy these 'wings' over stuff that is much cheaper or outright in every single home. Heck. If you buy just once a nicely-packaged wine with a box, you'll be able to reuse said box for 'free'. That'll provide more protection, too.

It's totally not related to todays topics , but I have to share. A few years ago, you did a post on countertop dishwashers. I recently just bought the Novete, it's been wonderful. I should have bought one sooner. I'm single, so the size is perfect. My home is old and in a small rural community, so it doesn't have the water pressure for a regular dishwasher. The best part I was able to use was the drain of the old laundry sink that used to be in the kitchen. There is no loss of counter space. It's on a freestanding kitchen rack, with storage below. Thanks for the review, all those years ago. Otherwise, I dont think I ever would have bought this product. I would still be handwashing

I supported a Kickstarter from Grill Rescue for a cylindrical cooler block (stainless steel) and collar that fits in/on a Yeti 20 oz cup (or similar brand) to cool/keep cool a 12oz can or bottle. They call it Tumbler Buddy. It means I don’t have a dedicated double walled can cooler, but I do have an alternate use for my Yeti 20oz cup. I keep the cooler block bottom in the freezer and the collar for the top in a drawer. When I’m ready to use it, I drop the cooling cylinder in my cup, insert my bottle or can, and slip on the collar to keep it in place. It definitely works. If someone already has a 20oz Yeti cup, it would make a nice accessory for it.

Wine Wings - while I haven't used that specific brand, I've used others like it for several years now. I use them while traveling to bring glass to/from my destination. Ex. bringing a bottle of liquor to guests or bringing home souvenir perfume. In addition to padding the items in your luggage, they (at least the ones I use) also seal against spillage. So if the item inside breaks, you don't end up with the stuff all over your luggage & clothes. Only ever had one item break inside (due to major abuse by airline) and it saved my stuff from being covered in a sticky alcohol.

I recently bought two Yeti 20 oz. tumblers for enjoying my kombucha and keeping my tea hot at work. I love them so far! It's hot here now, and out camping last week the ice remained in my cold drinks all day long. I figure I'll be using them for the rest of my life, so it's worth the price to me. For the wine bibs, I just wipe the lip of the bottle with a paper towel or cloth after each pour. I personally don't think it's a problem that needs to be solved with another gadget. I wrap fragile glass bottles in cloths and put in bags or tubs if it does break, so never had a need for something made specifically to protect bottles of drink or food. (Also, seeing those bottles break made my heart cry...what a waste of wine lol) I have no opinion on the egg mould...it's not useful to me, but I guess kids would love dino shaped eggs lol

I would have liked to see the wine wings dropped from hirer 1st. maybe just once it would have survived, because I feel like constant falls to glass on the same side or regardless it would have eventually have broken regardless.. Not sure if the bottle broken because of the falling height or because of multiple drops? lol

Should have bought the frost buddy instead of the yeti. Fits way more than the yeti. I bought a yeti for the 16oz yeti one and it’s good but the frost buddy xl will be my next purchase since it fits 12 oz, 16oz and way more all in one product

The yeti works better if its precooled first or at least thats been my experience especially with the cups.

Thought that the Dinosaur Egg Mould was a microwave egg cooker, i.e. you pour a shelled raw egg into the mould and cook it. Would it work if you tried? I am curious! Obviously you would have to grease it before adding the egg.,

I've seen the Yeti clone at Walmart for less than $10. I have a beer bottle/soda can insulator with the screw ring from Aldi they were 2 for about $9.99.

The Glasses could effect soda temp too, you could have put the thermomotor directly into each can...Plus no clean up...😂 😂

Wish I saw this before I ordered the wine wings and got them! I’m taking them in a suitcase and hoping they don’t leak!

I just got back from a trip to France and brought 3 bottles of wine back home with me. I used the wine wings in my checked hard sided suitcase. Opening the suitcase today and the wine wings worked perfectly! I was nervous after this video but they worked great. I plan to bring them for all future wine trip visits!

The bottle protectors that are many individual tubes are way better. They typically come flat and you inflate them with a mini pump. Been using that style for years when I fly. And ive never had a bottle break, ive had my luggage broken. But never a bottle.

Can coolers are great if you live where it gets hot and aren't shotgunning your drinks

Coozies, yes. Single Can Coolers, no. If it is hot out, you should be drinking WATER or something with electrolytes, not pop/beer. And having a ready supply of available hydration is better, ie a cooler with ice and multiple drinks. Coozies are good for keeping a can cooler a bit more while keeping your hands comfortable. They also are compact. A can cooler is a solution in search of a problem. Better for casual drinking inside an air conditioned office where you may want a “lid”. But in any actually hot environment, you will drink the can very quickly, and then you have to lug around an empty shell.
