Haven’t made my vellum flowers yet. They are the next item to make so I can do my album for myself! Usually give my items to other people.

thank you so much for this! I love working with vellum but no matter how hard I try I cannot seem to heat emboss it. I've tried different kinds I think I'm applying too much heat. I really like the way the flowers look when they come out of the shaping mold, cracks and all. I don't have a shaping mold, I've been on the fence but this technique may be my tipping point. 😁 I actually received a handmade card in my most recent order with the mushroom set, thank you so much it was absolutely gorgeous you guys probably do that all the time but I had never received one before and it made my whole day! the glitter on that card was magnificent in person too, the TV just does not pick it up so thank you again I love your company and I love being a member!!

You're amazing Jessica! Thanks for watching. For embossing the vellum, it can be a delicate task for sure. We find it best to go slow and don't get the heat gun too close. You are going to love the Molds! They are a game changer! Happy Crafting!

Love the vellum. Still working on it.

Hi! so I had an idea and put it to the test and it worked. I sandwiched the vellum with 65lb paper. One on top and one underneath with the vellum in-between . I spritzed Both 65lb paper. so there was some give. And there was no cracking of the vellum when I removed it from the sandwich. I can use the paper that I used from the sandwich in my projects, so no waste. However I did not try it with the embossing powder, because I do not have the stamps.

EMMA LOU, I would like to see you use spray Dry Shampoo on the mold before putting the embossed flowers in to see if the embossing still sticks. Just a thought. I will have to try this.
@IAMGiftbearer2 жыл бұрын
This is beautiful! I wonder if applying some heat to it to soften it up a bit before running it through the machine to press it into the mold would prevent cracking?
