I actually have a somewhat interesting easter egg that I found recently. (I don't know if it was discovered before, but if is please let me know since I may be the first one who found it) In the NSMBU Style, you can tap on your character, (Mario, Luigi, and the Toads,) while in Creation Mode, which makes them look at you. If you immediately use the eraser right behind them, they will look behind as if someone wanted their attention (it's pretty cute)

I have a useless fact that I found out myself which cannot be unheard. When you're in build mode and you hear that weird sound effect when you place down blocks and such, it is just a distorted sound of someone saying what you placed down going along with the music. To best test this, place down key, p switch, ice block, or spike block. You'll hear it clearly

i discovered a small useless glitch where if you place a saw at the same place as a track, without the saw being on the track, then placing an item on it, then putting the saw on the track without letting go of it and then undoing, the saw will be confused as to which layer it is on, which causes any item on the track to seemingly flicker in the editor. it goes back to normal after it is reloaded. it seems to work with any item that can go on tracks, other than bosses. one use for it could be creating cursed thumbnails if you combine it, for example, with a large cannon.

Useless fact: When you die in lava in NSBU it uses another voice clip, like the original game, but the same thing doesn't happen in SM3DW. Talking about NSBU and voice clips, when you die crushed by the screen (auto scroll horizontal) it uses a rare voice clips. And other one it when you play multiplayer offline, the player in bubble talk like the original game (a underrated detail).

That Smash Ultimate stage was based off the original Mario Maker. Which was weirder at the time because it had even more discrepancies. (For instance, when that stage came out, there were still no slopes). Here's a fun fact: The remix of Mario Maker's theme was in Smash 4's files long before the stage (and I think Mario Maker) even came out.

Fact: when you out on a boot, you’re actual sprite uses a different model from the normal goomba-less boot. This can be seen when grabbing a boot from the side instead of directly on top, as there will briefly be 2 boots onscreen. Semi-related fact: whereas putting on a boot in brings the boot over to you, getting on a yoshi sends you to the yoshi. Once again, you can see this by getting on from the side instead of the middle

However, as it turns out, big Mario (including ducking big Mario) has a slightly wider hitbox than small Mario. This is demonstrated in a level I uploaded called uno mas: dodgeball.
