So, did he set her up so that he could marry her then kill off her family so that she would only depend on him, because someone who likes her is someone the prince hates? I don't know it stopped translating and this is just all guess work. Fact 1: She was set up to be considered soiled before marriage. Fact 2: the groom did not attend their wedding; they wanted her to do the marriage ceremony with a chicken. Fact 3: Her whole family was killed by the no show groom (scum prince) and his men. Can anyone clear up my confusion as to what is going on?! It seems the second first meeting with the prince is a setup, can't say its actual fact yet..

From what I could understand, they knew each other at least during these 3 years in her previous life (she met him for the first time on the bridge) during which he protected her behind the scenes from all kinds of dangers and she was unaware of them (like the scene where they try to bury her, this did not happen in the previous life because then he Saved her before anything happened, now he's jealous because she wants to marry the adopted prince so he only saved her at the last minute). There was a plan for a rebellion that the uncle of the adopted prince that somehow her family became involved. The prince married her so that she could escape the death penalty that applied to her entire family. You also see that when the father is dying, he tells her to not look for revenge and stay with the prince and that he is sure... but then he died, I believe he was trying to tell her that he sure the prince will watch over her.
