Loved it! Male Lead is running around like headless chicken. Lol comedy. They use the entire drama to frustrate him, FL doesn’t swoon for him which is awesome. Only it needs some romance, they bickered through the whole drama. So we don’t get much chemistry. It’s still very soft on the guy, like he does the laundry for 2 days and just suddenly learns his lesson of 5 yr neglect?! Otherwise it’s nice to see the FL standing her ground and giving him a run.

Before you decide not to watch it, the husband is not a scum. But he did ignore her for 5 years. He didn't cheat on her either and tried to give her a big divorce settlement. I think somebody gave him the idea of divorce (his assistant, I think). They didn't clarify why he wanted a divorce, but I guess he just wasn't sold on marriage and is quite workaholic. Anyways, it's a story of chasing his wife back and the wife trying to bankrupt him but instead she made the company more profit. 😂 The husband was not physically nor morally abusive. The wife didn't have deep feelings for him during marriage too. They developed feelings after trying to divorce.

This would have been a fun drama, except for the mother-in-law. The bickering between the couple is silly and harmless, but his mother is not only verbally abusive, but uses every excuse to physically attack the FL. I guess this kind of violent assault is considered normal in China, but in the west this would be considered domestic violence and the police would be called in right away. It's disappointing that in the end the FL accepts a one-time apology from her mother in law and that's supposed to make it okay.
