Very unlucky shine saw 4 marcus' turn 3 and then hit the 4 cost one in security to win the game. We also pitched all of our DexDorugora into a DP minus deck which wasnt the play

If you are about to be deleted by having zero dp you can trigger the dex effects to evolve and get bigger. Then you may survive the dp minus

True but it was minus 25k and he couldn't activate when digivolving because he was still dieing

7:09 isn't that when Dorugoramon can evolve to the Dexdorugora from trash when destroyed?

Dorugora being minused down by 5k for each tamer on shine's board, dexdoru being 13k wouldnt have proc its on digivolve effect even if you activated the from trash effect

@@foodsteps7620 I don't agree. Even when dexdorugora will be destroyed immediately after digivolved, the De-Digivolve effect of its "when digivolved" will still activated. and the overflow of the shinegrey will be triggered. the dex deck and get his turn again

@@patrickng9658 Well in this case, Dorugora will Digivolve to DexDorugora, and this when Digivolve will be triggered, BUT, since your Dex still has 0 DP and will be deleted immediately, you can't activated its [When Digivolve] because its no longer on the field. (It's similar to the Shine Greymon RM's eff. Your Digimon with 5k or less DP will be deleted and can't use [On play] effects). in the end, the only thing you got is the "Draw for digivolution"

i hate going against shinegreymon deck, it feels like it sucks the fun out of the game, it deletes everything every time it attacks and spams tamer on the field and even if the get deleted they go to sec an appear next turn again. Aside from that good match.
