Too bad the male lead comes across as a bully and manipulative. Too many of the sec scenes did not look truly consensual. Only a weak man has to bribe and manipulate a woman into sleeping with him.

I believe from the time they did it a second time he let her know that she belongs to him, even after saving her from the attacker he gave her money for an apartment because some day he will be at work and not be able to save her so he showed care and was straight forward

do you hav the title or link for the other drama? the only other drama i have seen them together was their master xuanye/wei yuxian drama, Li Keyi gets pregnant with twin and Xie Yuwang, coming from a family who has a hard time conceiving/carrying heirs, marries her. i love their version of that drama! Xie Yuwang fits the stoic, aloof, ice-cold CEO to a T. Li Keyi looks fresh and innocent and so young. their chemistry here was waaaay better. or they are more comfortable with each other in this drama!

Shi lin, tho he is yrs older than lin mian and kind of perverted towards her but he's so warm, sincere and reliable for only her. He himself didnt know that he will be addicted to her to this core so he decided to marry her. As he hope by marrying her, he will gv more happiness and has a happy life bcoz he loves her. Meanwhile lin mian is such a coward, defenseless and pure girl. She actually thought that her relationship with shi lin was just a transaction at first. But by his patiently lured her to his arms by herself, she finally understood that she also loves him too.. What a romantic love story..
