This is a very good reborn/revenge-plot story with good actors and a strong revenge-arc. This woman knows how to serve her revenge the right way. I loved this strong/cunning/smart FL and supportive/powerful/nice ML. Besides a few editing errors and some mediocre subbing, this is definitely well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! The disfigured FL is the step-mother of a young man. On his wedding day, everybody praises her for securing him a very good wife and marriage. But when her step-son offers her tea, he has poisoned it. As she dies, she realizes that she has been used for so many years, helping the Marquis’s mansion to uphold a high position in society and raising her husband’s bastard son. Now redundant, FL is killed to make room for the step-son’s mother to become the mistress of the mansion. But instead of dying, FL is somehow reborn on the day where she was pressured by her mother-in-law into choosing and accepting into the family, what turned out to be her husband’s bastard son with a woman outside. Since she and her husband weren't intimate and therefore childless, she was given a choice between 2 boys. Knowing that he was the one who ended up poisoning her, this time she chooses the other boy as an adoptive son and tells her mother-in-law to raise the bastard son herself. Then she starts dealing with her cheating husband and the woman who gave birth to the bastard son and entered the mansion as a fake cousin. After saving the Prince (ML), who became the Emperor in her first life - and who actually cared about her - she makes an alliance with him to deal with her husband. Well, not spoiling too much, this has a very happy ending.

The ML supported her from the beginninf, and falls in love with her even when she was married, he even went crazy and don't want to let go of the female lead when he finally knows the truth that she's pure and he was the one who took her purity, this is one of the most satisfying drama. Am I the only one flabbergasted that the old mother-in-law was repping so hard for the mistress?! I get that she didn't like the FL but at least she is more useful to the family than the mistress. At some point, you have to decide to cut your losses and realize someone is more trouble than they are worth? She co-signs bringing the mistress into the home by lying she is her niece and had the FL, the main wife raising a bastard. The FL finds out about it and still somehow swallows the humiliation, gets her son a promotion, exposes that the mistress is nothing but used goods and a scammer at that, and still the mother law doesn't tell her foolish son it's time to get rid of her. It's clear to see the mistress will be their family's biggest disgrace and downfall. All their problems could have been solved if they had a maid slip some poison in the mistress's tea one morning (Diabolical, I know). It's just mind-blowing to me that wicked old woman was so blind!! They deserved their comeuppance and more!!
