利用上升氣泡帶走管內底部的一些水從而造成管內外水位差 然後外部水壓通過進水口進到管子的上面，經過濾棉濾材又來到了管子底部。 應該是這個原理吧？ 感覺如果出小型魚缸用的氣泵式過濾 應該會很好賣。

建議不要用管塞，改用清潔口，清潔口可以旋開或旋緊而且密封性非常好，一般大樓配排污管都會用清潔口。 正打算自己用3吋或4吋PVC管來DIY前置過濾。

To build filters using air to pump water is as old as the first fish tank. The system was used for internal filters, external filters and also for "under the sand" filters but they are not used anymore because they are noisy, inefficient and increases a lot the Ph by removing CO² from the water

Oh not true, lots of breeders use under the gravel filters with a hole in the bottom of the tank to siphon the waste out when needed. Actually the simplest system and effective!

Excelente idea, solo que yo le pondría dos piedras aireadoras, una en cada tubo para acelerar más la entrada del agua de la parte baja del tubo y que esta pase por la guata y las bolas y de alli terminar su recorrido al ser expulsada por la boquilla superior.

@Orion X5 Si usa motor amigo lo que pasa es que es externo y la única función que tiene ese motor solo es lanzar aire, es como un mini compresor por eso observa que se le instaló una manguera transparente y al final se le coloco una especie de piedra por la cual salen burbujas y estas hacen que el agua alcance la salida.

The big pipe is no use here other than keeping the bio media, the media is not relating to the air suction. the air and water suction is happening in the small pipe. you can keep them separately.

The water bubbles are taking the water up as air moves up and this creates suction at the base of the open air tube pipe which pulls water from the top through the gravel media

good question, since it is an air riser type(no moving parts) and has a relatively low suction. you could probably get away with using some plastic knitting mesh on the inlet to keep the shrimp from being sucked up or trying to make a home in the filter.
