TBH the actor's Mom shouldn't have grabbed the man's arm in the first place. That is still considered assault in most countries. He was shrugging/tugging her off. He was right to be insulted and angry for his daughter. In a way she was used, abused, and told lies. It was humiliating for her to have to grovel and ask for leniency by them. That "friend" of his is a piece of work too. Pretending to be such a good, honest person and backstabbing the poor girl later in the press as a mistress even though she's not even that guy's gf. I don't care if he had a brain transplant, you don't allow anyone to hurt the person you say you love, especially when they are there to help you and they've looked out for you. If it had been my daughter i wouldn't want her anywhere near this guy again. I'd send her abroad to get a job or get another life till this fiasco blows over. That's just ridiculous. What a bunch of gentile woosies allowing a young girl to take the fall for something.

This is a case of "your word against mine" and at that moment, it will be hard to say the father didn't do it, because of the state of mind he was in and he has no witness on his behalf that it was an accident. He was in their turf. The whole thing could have been prevented by ML because he was the subject of the anger.

@@gemini8966 oh I blame the ML big time. Instead of taking control and denying the online rumors, he allowed Ming Wei to get hurt and maligned. That hurts her work as well. That whole family is just a piece of work. I couldn't imagine any of them telling the truth that the mom had grabbed the dad's arm, he shrugged her off, and she tripped and fell. That could have ended this whole situation. Too wishy washy. I'm still on the dad's side but he should have told her to remove her hand. Most he could have done was use his other hand and removed her hand from his arm.

Well that was incredibly frustrating to watch. Father is righteously angry, mother grabs him, he shakes her off, she's like a leaf in the wind, snake inflames the sitch and gets him arrested, no one stops that injustice, heroine ends up apologising...which she def should never do because they set her up. 🤮 But i guess the whole point is to get everyone going with the injustice. I'm a bit peeved at the amnesiac ML because he's allowing all this stuff to happen and he's playing dumb at the same time. He's not aware of the media blackening Ming Wei's name and calling her a mistress plus that good ol' friend of his is being called his gf...and she doesn't know anything about that? He barely "suspects thst lying snake? Pfftt! Yeah, and I have swamp land on the Brooklyn Bridge to sell ya! What a crock! The dad is livid and any good parent would be too. Guess MLs promises aren't worth the toilet paper they got written on. That whole lying clown posse really annoys me. Ming Wei helped him when he lost his memory and this is the Thanks she gets. No good deed goes unpunished. I know he's the ML but if I were her parent I wouldn't let him near my daughter or allow any communication from him to her. Sorry, but no second chances. Can't wait till he grovels his way back to her. If she had to grovel to him and take more crap from him and his lying family to get her dad released he's gonna need to go on TV and grovel and take an add out on all publications...and maybe she'll take a message. I cringe every time an ML says they'll love, protect, and defend their beloved. I know something is gonna happen to turn them into a liar. I treat it like Pillow Talk. Snort!

Odio esta serie!!!! Odio esta trama!!!! Es injusto que ahora que el haya recupersdo su vida haya destruido la de una chica que se enamoró del otro personaje. Odio al protagonista. Esta serie me sacó de mis cadillas... Pero el final es lo mas horrendo. No lo puedo creer.
