Especially if one of them dies, but I don't regret watching this one because it showed how people with mental illness live and the struggles they go thru, also survivor's regret and self blame. Loved how they tried to make it work, you could clearly see his emotions and that he truly loved her although he blamed her. The drama clearly shows that if you try to please others, you would have to live with the consequences of your decisions. I could feel the pain that she had just trying to live a little bit longer until justice was served. How she had hope for the future in those 55 days of love they spent doing things together until ML promised his mom to stay away from her. I was hoping until the last second that he would run out of his wedding and save her and lived happily ever after 😢. 2ML was a wonderful support in her life. 👍👍👍👍

See this just proves how devastating and soul crushing r**e is, not just to the victim but also their family and the people around them, its like a bomb that destroys everything, its also the hardest crime to prosecute, even when you have hard evidence plus statements and witnesses it's still hard to get a guilty verdict, even if you do get one most culprits don't get punishment they deserve, it's more like a slap on wrist, not to mention these fucking assholes get to live their life, and the saddest part is regardless if the culprit is caught or not, the victims losses either way, they will have to suffer the trauma their whole lives, they get ostracized by other people, they will always be reminded of what happened and worst of all they get blamed for it, victims of other crimes will hear comforting words like "it's not your fault", "we're here if you need us", "you're not alone", but r**e victims instead hear words like "why were you dress like that","why did you go out at night", "why do you look like that", "it's like your asking for it", "you're so dirty"...........those POS bastards gets to start over while the victims remain a victim their whole life............

The writers, the actors and the directors did a very good job in showing us some of the painful moments in living with depression and mental health issues. I love how the FL & ML acted their tormented parts. Especially FL when one minute she was calm and the next she was all volatile and broken down. SML part is crucial in giving some stability in FL’s life. His conversation with ML was always so well written and painfully true. love the gracefully beautiful FL. SO the ML listened to his bitter mother and broke up with the FL, who would probably not have committed suicide had she still had their promise to cling onto. The ML will now live with/in regret for the rest of his life for the choices he made whilst his selfish mother will probably die soon and he will be left alone wondering why/what he gave up his happiness for. Why did he promise her to be together forever and then break up with her based on nothing really. The 2ML was right he gave her hope then abandoned her. This is another case of filial piety at its worst. Why couldn’t the mother leave her grown ass son to make his own decision rather than force her opinion and hatred on him, it wasn’t enough that he was caring about his moms health she also wanted him to sacrifice his happiness because she couldn’t forgive the FL who was scared at the time but did what her friend asked and went to get help, she also lost her best friend. And to justify killing her grandchild because of it was unforgivable, what a detestable woman! Now his mother has effectively lost her son as he will be a shell of a man due to the decision he made based on her disapproval . The real tragedy of this drama was that had the ML chosen love they all could have possibly found healing and happiness especially after the perpetrators were brought to justice 🫤. The FL was really good as she portrayed an array of emotions that trauma and mental health can cause. This drama made me cry because she saw suicide as her only other option 😢.

this is not an easy story to tell since the FL lead was victimized on multiple occasions. She was victimized by the attackers, courts, the ML, the ML's mom and the whole system. The worst was when the SFL paid someone else to attack her. That was the absolute worst.

Wen Yuan carried this drama from first to last min. Yes the fl tried.shes usually a decent love rival if i rem her correctly, but she still needs more training on carrying an entire plot as the main Fl. I sympathised with her story and not her as a character. But she did her best. ...hope to see her improve...And the drama story was good. It was meant to convey pain in the aftermath of a sudden brutal loss and how it affects everyone, and ML brought that out beautifully. BUUUUUUUTTTTTTT the ending i absolutely LOATH. Depression is extremely difficult and painful. They did a good job showing how words can either be a light out of the darkness, or they can be knives to a depressed person’s soul. If you are easily triggered, don’t watch this, they cover a lot of difficult topics. But for what it was, it’s well done. I choose to believe that the SML got there in time and saved her. They’ve gone abroad together for her treatment and peace of mind. They’ll end up together, because he is the light she needs to help escape her darkness. Together they will find happiness and a future. The dude is as we last saw him- alone with his regrets. THE END
