The writers changed this drama and removed the Dad's knowledge of his daughter's death. He was so caught up in making a career to support his family that he forgot to physically be with and protect his family. He was willing to receive family law in order to be forgiven. This version makes the ML more forgivable, but I still don't think he deserves forgiveness. A man who doesn't contact his family for weeks, while spending time with another female, isn't qualified for forgiveness.

The worse mother and daughter duo in Chinese drama. The actresses did their job cause Im mad and really needed them to get more retribution. It wasn't enough. Obviously the story was designed this way but when the mum did get through to her husband, it annoyed me that she didn't tell him that his draughting was dying come to the hospital immediately. I would be peeved at my husband too if he didnt prioritise my kids but why tell him your daughter has a fever cause it downplayed her symptoms. Not sure I would have taken him back though. Forgiveness is one thing but I'm torn between whether they should end up together. That said, I dont think this husband was as bad as the others in this trope. He seemed to genuinely love his child (and his wife) but he was weak and prioritised his work above his family. He might have set the mother and daughter to jail but it won't make up the hurt I feel seeing the mother deal with the daughters death without the support of the hubby. Also 2 years away from his wife and child is insane especially given his child was sick.

It was heartbreaking that child's father had no bone and let himself controlled by the vicious boss and her daughter. I liked this version. He got caught up in furthering his career and forgot about who he was doing all of it for. He wasn’t strong enough to set boundaries and ended up paying for it by missing his daughter’s last days. I like the way they had him find redemption and forgiveness. I think that experience will make him strong enough in the future to set clear boundaries.

How’s that possible when he’s the vice president of a company? If you’re working all that time around the clock, you’re definitely not good at your job and should quit asap😳 Why wasn’t his family relocated to live with him or visiting him?

Le ml est impardonnable, il prétend aimé la fl et sa fille mais dès qu'il divorce est prêt à se remarié avec la 2fl, c'est mesquin et prétendre pour le bien de sa fille gagnée de l'argent alors qu'il sait que l'entreprise a extorquer de l'argent, en profitant de cet argent pour à la fin, les dénoncer à la police, le ml est a deux poids, deux mesures.
