One of the best adaptations of this script - a little bit defferent. In this version, the ML does not kill his child. The good thing about this: they show, that the ML did not love the FL from the beginning, they show how little he cared for his kid. They made it clear, that the FL was just the money cow and every single one of them suffered. Mistress humiliated severely and in jail for killing the child, her son dies, MIL in jail, ML looses everything and is alive to see how happy the FL is after the divorce. Well done!

I completely agree. The ML is still alive and works in construction but he can only be an observer into his ex wife's new happy life with a much more caring, loyal, protective hubby, and a baby along the way. I just can't fathom how he thought it was OK to keep secrets from his wife like donating their son's corneas to the side chick's kid. He actually didn't see a problem with it. His own son was disappointed in his own dad and told the mom, as he was dying, that he wished her happy and to take care of herself. He knew his dad wouldn't come to see him 1 last time. He was that bitterly disappointed at such a young age. That's heartbreaking! Also the dad knew quite a bit early that his son had died and still stuck like glue to the side chick and her kid. His new reality us bittersweet, less sweet. He has no future, no wife, no fancy job, no kid, and no hope. He does have a job though and he's still alive. He should be grateful for that. I do hold the wife responsible for still staying by him even though he kept picking the skag even at the beginning of them dating. She should have nipped that problem in the bud. Being a happy single rather than a bitter married person if you don't find the right one. If they start out like this...RUN!

i enjoyed the resentment she harbours against him. throwing away all his gifts, not wanting to see his face. it's realistic given what he put her through. none of that magnanimous, willing to sit and have coffee and talk bs. i also liked the full ending they gave us because once the revenge is complete, there is a restart period afterwards for victims and atonement for others. 10/10

True.. She even said it herself, that she should've known better back in college, but she still chose to be with him... now that's where she's at fault and has to be accountable for. Sometimes, with cases like these specifically, the wife/gf also holds some responsibility bc they already knew what kind of man their husband was before they married them and they then see how worse they've become after marriage... yet they still stay, holding on to the thought and possibility that things could get better... that he will get better. Truth is you can't make someone love you and bringing a child into this world isn't going to change that, which is what some women will do(hoping their child would bring them together) bc who could hate an innocent child right? But in the end, it's the child who suffers most. The moment he left her on the ground, without even asking if she's okay, to take care of another woman... she should've called it quits.

The "mother avenged her dead child, made husband & mistress pay" dramas so far had been executed well, but this one took the plot to another new level instead of just sticking to the original/usual storyline. Firstly, I love that the addition of the scum husband's money hungry family. Their interactions with FL and with the mistress bring a fresh dynamic; and so does the mistress being.... a full time mistress? instead of just hanging on one man lol. Second point, and I love it more than the first one, is that we get to see the ex-husband's struggles instead of him just dying. The first drama and other adaptations were kind enough to just imply him struggling for a few years and then died (and get to see his child in the afterlife).

I wasn't going to watch this but read the reviews and how it was very different. So. 5 minutes in or so I have to admit. That little boy talking to his mother about the father was heartbreaking. The knowledge in this child was unbelievable. Sad his awareness in life was knowing his own father didn't care about him. This kid played that part extremely well. Award should be given. I'm 65 and it made me tear up and felt heart broken. So. I will continue to watch just for the revenge factor

One of the best adaptation of the story. Everyone acted well. The backstory explained well and gave 3D to characters. He loved other girl, but married the heroine for the money. It also lead the other girl to hate and envy the heroine. I also believe that at the end the ex genuinely regretted being terrible to his wife and son. They showed some nice moments with the child.

I liked that she took revenge on those responsible for the death of her child, but at the end my heart broke for the father. I understood that he was guilty of many other things, not only the death of the child, but as if he deserved to be forgiven. Really like this one, they changed some parts from other versions, but her acting was on point, specially when she showed pain after loosing her child. Everyone who should pay, paid for their sins, she had her ful revenge, and than got her life back, a life where she will finally is trully loved and where her child will be loved too. In this one we could clearly see that her husband just wanted her money, just wanted to use her, he just found her and her child worth after he lost everything, being peniless made him see, ohh i lost a good woman and a good life, cuz i was to arrogant and too infatuated with an ex lover, so good to see, him being left alone in the hospital, with not a single soul to care for him, the same thing he did to his son and wife.
