So it only natural for him to be dissatisfied with the marriage FL hid the fact she saved ML and even told grandpa no to tell him because she doesn't want him to love/like her out of favor, but that favor is the main reason why she got married to him at the end, not because ML loved her. Also she wanted ML to love her for who she is, but she never was herself during the 5 years of marriage. She embraced a new humble, weak, helpless, housewife persona in order to get close to ML. If she truly wanted ML to love her for who she is, she should have been the fearless, brave, confident, sassy, and smart FL who works hard to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry through her music career that we got to see after her amnesia. That's her unfiltered true self. Also ML and FL never had a proper conversation during their marriage years. Even if FL wanted to talk to ML, he was never allowing a good talk to occur, always chasing her away. As a man he should have told her the reason for his marriage with her and how unhappy and unsatisfied he is. Even if he dislikes her, that's still his legal wife and the mother of his kid, which means he should have taught his son to respect her. But he not only turned a blind eye to his son's misbehaviors but also allowed his son to look down on her infront of outsiders. Also whenever FL made a trouble about SFL (according to ML), ML should have explained SFL is his savior so FL shouldn't be causing trouble to her, if he really wanted his savior to be respected instead of making FL feel inferior compared to another woman, as a husband. FL knew her son is mad at her because of her humble achievements comparative to other kids' mothers which also caused her kid to have fight and quarrels with other kids in his school, so should have explained it to her kid or even at least tried to a work on herself and make a name for herself as she already used to be a singer and participated in competitions during her school and campus days. She could have used it as an opportunity to go back to being herself. But no instead she used to scold the kid and made him apologize to other kids which could only make things worse. Also as a parent she has been weak, I know since ML spoils the kid, kid grew up to be an entitled spoiled brat, but as a mother she should have been a bit stricter at least to the point where she wasn't bullied by the kid, even if he hates her.

This version has a slightly different plots. It's was not bad nor good. It has a different perspective that make you think and that wasn't wrong decision too. The kid was really spoiled, arrogant and has no respect to elders, i noticed this kid always take this kind of roles 😅 but he slowly change to be a good boy later on. Beside of that. Everything was ok and watchable 👌 As for relationships between ML and FL. Yes there is misunderstanding and also ML did mistreated FL in their 5 year of marriage. Also their son do mistreating FL too. But after she loss her memory, they are slowly changing their behaviour. This is pro and cons in relationship, thus we wanna FL divorce his husband and left her son but it wasn't wrong to forgive and give them chance to change to be a better person. 😊

I agree. Why should she cook breakfast for them? Besides, his son is the one who said he wanted them to divorce and the scum's mistress to be his new mom. So call the mistress to come and cook their meals. Better yet scum and go in the kitchen and cook the meals himself. Until then, the female lead is only cooking for herself. Which obviously they know nothing about. Why would you have a live chicken? He had never heard of going to the store and buying chicken. Never heard of restaurants that serve chicken? Never heard of DoorDash or UberEats? Plus, I love how the female lead showed them she's not someone to be messed with. Actually this is a good drama about finding and love yourself. She lost herself after marrying him possibly due to losing her self esteem, trauma, negativity from her injury. She turn into someone else. She become too humble, feeling insecure, timid and all negative vibes that influenced everyone in her path. When she lost her 5 years of memory she return to her "real" self. Brave, cheerful, fighting for whatever she want and all positive vibes. Actually the husband not to be blame for everything other than mistook imposter and misunderstood his wife. He actually find the 5 years marriage unbearable because of the negative vibes from his wife but once his wife return to her real "former" self he start become interested to his wife. So the ending for me actually a great ending. The moral of story I think more about finding your self and vibes positive.

To be honest, I hate stories about being married to anyone and there’s infidelity involved. Like, whether it is 2 weeks, 2 yrs, or 20 yrs, infidelity is one of the oaths broken. What I hated more, is Chinese writers almost always have every excuse to for this. Let’s face it, this story is about a man who is married for 5yrs, yet still is looking for someone else to satisfy his curiosity. And women are supposed to have this amnesiac memory of his infidelity, humiliations and self worth so she has go back as if nothing has broken. I don’t believe that all women are less worthy in this world. But, with these kinds of narcissistic storylines constantly selling out, one would eventually believe so, at some point is their lives if they are at that weak point.

Honestly, I wish she'd never taken him back even if his pursuit was amusing at times, and he did regret his treatment of her. Both father and son were jerks in the beginning and both deserved to be left. Son obviously learned behavior from dad, which is disgraceful. Both looked down on her because she was their doormat (housewife/mother). Funniest line in the drama - ML's buddy calls FL to come get him because he's drunk and she says basically what he said when she was going to jump off roof - 'When he's dead, let me know and I'll send for his body.' 🤣🤣🤣 So fitting! I wish she'd never regained her memory at the end - she was more likeable as the amnesiac that didn't give a rat's rear end about ML. Also, liked when she punched ML in the eye! 🤣
