So while the fake keeps embarrassing herself, ruining their family, and making a fool out of them, the female lead is living a way better life without them. he's not upset about cutting ties with her as a person but about "losing face". It is essentially like in the 1960ies when the husband (or wife) cheated the family tried to cover it up to best of their abilities since when it became known it was basically bringing shame to the family and your public image declined. Chinese society is very hung up on this public image thing and you can basically do a lot of bad stuff behind closed doors but when it becomes publicly known and you give others a reason to publicly talk shit about the family thats the moment it becomes really, really bad (especially for the older generation).

I know all these chinese drama are based off novel BUT I would love one screenwriter to do one LOOSELY based off a novel. Make an older sibling who has always respected her but isn't in the drama much because they are overseas for work, towards the end or middle they come back and sees how the family is treating FL. Defends her and does their own investigation. I did see one drama that used this plot and hearing her thoughts plot... and funny enough the one of the actor plays a brother in this as well. So when she is reborn instead of cutting ties it becomes the plot where the family can hear FL thoughts and has a system. The system wants her to expose the fake daughter instead of cutting ties with the family.

But this time Family decided to favors the fake biological daughter over the misunderstood adoptive daughter (who is their actual daughter). I love how he always been caring and loving towards FL even before she was discovered as the biological daughter. And I love how 2st and 2nd brother are actively investigating the issues together till the end. I think this version has the most dumbest and stupidest parents and 3rd brother I have ever seen. They are soooo blind to the point of boosting the viewers' frustration. I love the chemistry between FL and ML, they are such a power couple. I love their relationship progression, it felt so natural and smooth. I love the cast, the acting was on point especially the main leads I love SFL's speech at the end, I kinda felt bad for her, but as FL said she needs to get the punishments for her own wrongdoings and crimes

Officially the 15th version 😂 Problems with this one (SPOILER): 1. Take time to show abuse (typical), but edit out how the FL leaves the family. I loved how many other versions gave the MC a grand exit. 2. Though she is a working woman who got paid, she supposedly spent years of pay on gifts so she only lived on pickled buns. Is is believable????😅 - they directly transformed 'the school girl saving on pocket money to buy gifts' to this work setting 😅 Please work more for your salary and at least write it off as she didn't get her salary. 3. Why add so many "kabedon" and flirty scenes wihhout any real emotional connection? So unbelievable. Also, when the green tea sat on the ML, why is it only the green tea who got berated? Wouldn't it alao affect the ML's reputation as he allowed her to ride him?! Minimize the sexism Cdrama world. 4. Why would you give a "fairy entrance" to a powerful and mature bussiness woman? Can't she have a mature attire more suited for a business party? 4. Why do you always need a third part to prove your identity? She comes alone to the party like she not only established the company single handedly, but also does all the work on her own 😅 Please get a secretary and a bodyguard in the least. 5. What's with the ending?

This is how many versions now?? And still I will always hate the parents the most.. Down to the last they still had nothing good to say.. First version I've seen where the last brother wasn't convinced tho.. in other versions all the siblings realized their faults.. last bro only realized it at the last minute.. what a waste he is.. lol.. This one still had the diary scene but it wasn't played too much.. It was mainly the 2nd fl manipulating the rest so that was interesting.. The ending speech by 2nd fl was new and a great add on.. cause it showed up the family for their two faced mentality.. When she said "Did I ask/tell you to do it?" So for me.. in this version it was good.. I did skip through alot of the stupid pointing fingers and scheming that the 2nd fl did but I got the gist of the story.. I did like how they added a ML love interest in it for her and he was good.. not the best costumes for him but he was good.. Of all the versions I've seen the best one for me would be the one where she was reborn as a child.. I felt her hurt more in that one.. It was a good watch for a story that has been remade so many times.. I still hate the parents.. 😂 This is the 3rd version I've seen the eldest bro act as the eldest bro..
