Like always these writers hates strong woman that know their self worth. This is why these writers keep sending the fl back to the husbands even though they were the worst husbands or boyfriend or fiance it doesn’t matter they always send them back to the nightmare. In this case the fiance was a self-centered SOB!!! He didn’t care about the gf feelings at all because if he did he wouldn’t have kept the ex around him after the gf left she was so much around it looked like they were back dating and even his family disapproved of her being around and he didn’t even care! He didn’t even think for a second that it is after his gf spoke to the ex she ran out and got hit and had the miscarriage so to come back knowing the ex is still around would be hard for the fl. This ml was trash and him and the crazy ex should just be together! the fl is foolish for going back to him for more of the same of why she left in the first place! and to be friends with the b that caused your miscarriage is crazy!

Anna set in motion the sequence of events that led to Ximi’s death. I hate that in C dramas, the give women like Anna a happy ending. I hate that Jiaxin was stupid enough to reconcile with Xiyi after everything he put her through. Dylan was more likeable, up until the moment where he sided with Anna to separate them.

@@henriettaspencer1544 I know. She was a manipulative, resentful, cold, arrogant, selfish, psycho woman. People had to walk on eggshells around her. She used all of that to her advantage and got her way most of the time. She succeeded in retaining Xiyi by her side even after she was the cause of all of his misfortune. But he was no saint either. He let her dictate his life and didn’t give Jiaxin the respect she deserved. He wanted to take Ximi away from her once he was born. And naive as she was, Jiaxin was going to let him do it. What was the good in her leaving and regaining her confidence and strength when she was was going to go back into the arms of the man who caused all her pain.

@@leomawalker4354 he was literally dating Anna 3 years after Jiaxin left. Even if he didn’t love her, he was literally seeing the woman that caused both of them physical and mental harm. He wanted to give Jiaxin space after she left as the loss of Ximi was too much to bear. But 3 years is too long. He didn’t look for her and instead focused on his work and new relationship. When he found Jiaxin, he tossed Anna aside for the time and pursued her. He was literally juggling with both of their feelings a few episodes before the finale. It would’ve made more sense if he remained single and faithful for the time skip. But, he gave Anna a chance even after all she did (excluding the parental rights dilemma). Xiyi doesn’t like to be alone and alway has to have a girl by his side. What angers me about him and almost every single C drama male lead is that it is always what they want. They don’t take into consideration what the female lead wants. Jiaxin wants a divorce, but he refuses to sign the papers. Even if Anna manipulated the entire situation, Xiyi chased after Jiaxin. She was ran over because she was trying to escape from him. Although it wasn’t entirely his fault, his actions also caused Ximi’s death. He denied her relationship to him every time someone asked. He used Jiaxin and Ximi to get close to the hospital director to offer a partnership. After their feelings started to blossom, Xiyi didn’t think it was necessary to get rid of Anna’s picture in their bedroom. Jiaxin’s mom was the one who took matters into her own hands. From what I understood, Xiyi was going to have custody of Ximi once he was born, and she went along with it.

The evil ex-girlfriend is the one caused all this headache to begin with. She left Xiyi on the cruise while he was planning to propose. Jiaxin accidentally got pregnant, Xiyi and Jiaxin were forced to get marriage because of her pregnancy. Xiyi falls in love with Jiaxin shortly after the marriage because of the kindness, and then he tried to break up with that evil ex. But this time the evil-ex (Anna) keep show up unannounced and get the way to create headaches and misunderstanding for Xiyi and Jiaxin. Anna refused to let go and wanted to be with Xiyi. Xiyi did not date Anna after he realized that he is falls in love with Jiaxin. He just feel sorry and take care of Anna when she was in the hospital while she no relative and alone in Shanghai as a friend. Jiaxin could have just confront with Xiyi about the amendment contract instead of believing the evil-ex. Anna is pure EVIL…. I feel bad for Xiyi not knowing the real reason Jiaxin left. Good that they finally resolved all the misunderstandings, and together again. 🥲🥲🥲

There are 4 versions of this drama (Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai). The Chinese version is the WORST of them all. The female lead is tortured by the selfish guy and his monster ballerina girlfriend throughout most of the first half. And just as she's getting her own life and career on track, they show up again and make her miserable. For some reason, many reviewers think this is a romance series with a happy ending, but making the woman take that bastard back--and invite the ex-girlfriend to the wedding--is one of the most infuriating endings I've ever seen. Too bad she didn't grow a backbone.
