Sorry but it can't hurt that much can it? When I was getting my elementary grad pic, I did not have any piercings. The photographer's assistant forced their thick hook earrings through my ear so everyone can have the same look. It hurt, but I was able to endure it as a child. Suoxin's legs were broken, that's indescribably more painful. Jia is just being whiny.

Omg I'm so sorry that happened to you, that was traumatizing for sure ;;; yeah, Jia got off pretty light, but I guess it's doubly painful for her bc she was raised gently as a noble girl, and it was done with the intention to humiliate her? In any case they can't really hurt her too much bc of her status, and Ruyi complains to the Emperor constantly that she uses her maiden clan too much to get out of punishments.

It probably hurt slightly more because of how slow it was but it is inaccurate as the ears do not bleed. there are no blood vessles in the ears.

I'm sorry...but what on earth???? It should've been painful ! I got my ears pierced as a child , and the quack pushed the ring through my ear lobule to pierce it , without anaesthesia. The real pain came after that : the infection, with fever and the constant oozing of the wound.
