Mr operator, please ask Imran “why do you love Mahon more than Melika and Elnaz?” He quite clearly favours the boy, despite the girls loving him unconditionally. He should NOT have bought any gift for Mahon without buying something of equal value for both girls. In the eyes of the Lord, all children are equal, regardless of gender. Mahon is very manipulative & is very good at getting his own way. The girls help out all day every day without question and never moan. Imran should be ashamed. Their mother should not tolerate such favouritism & should have questioned him. As a mother myself, I would have given the scarf back to Imran and told him to take it back.and buy something for the girls and to never return with gifts for just one child. That makes me so sad. I love my girls and boys equally. They’re all unique and have different personalities. I couldn’t imagine bringing my sons a gift and their sisters a piece of fruit. Their dad has never showed favoritism either. It worked as my oldest is a female and very successful in a male dominated career and bought her own house at 22. One son just graduated college and has a full time job and the other son graduates next year and is going to law school. My younger daughter suffers from some rare health problems and the others have never complained about the time and attention it takes to keep her alive. They help her and include her in their lives. No one person is better than another because they’re XX or XY.😢

A inram se le nota la diferencia que quiere mas a maham q a malika y aynaz...o le compras un detalle a los 3 o a ninguno...Esta bien que no compro juguetes porque todo lo destruyen y eso cuesta dinero pero asi como le compro ropa al varon tambien tuvo que traerle algo a las niñas...con respecto al regalo a su esposa se noto que a ella ese diseño no le gusto..Inram trata de cuando vayas a salir no les preguntes a los niños que quieren que les traigas porque muchas veces les preguntas y no les traes nada y poe eso ellos corren al carro cuando te ven llegar pero no por ti sino para ver que les trajistes...ofreces mucho y haces poco...les ofrecistes un televisor y no pudiates comprarlo, ofrecistes un closet y no pudistes comprarlo entonces callate y cuando tengas dinero lo compras y punto..tienes que enseñar a los niños que no todas las veces que salgas tienes que traerles regalos ya que hay prioridades ya que ellos no cuidan ni juguetes ni ropa porque siempre andan sucios y tirados en la tierra...

I agree with you, but, this is not a "favoritism" and Imran is doing what every man in his society would not be ashamed of. It is just their mentality to treat girls and women this way. It is their everyday life; just watch when they go shopping or in any other common activity. In the Bakhtiari society women learn from the very early age not to expect more.
