I love Houchi, she is smart and kind but loyal and fierce in her protectiveness. When she got the power she got the power :). And when she brought the bad guy to his knees and put the 'Princess' in her place I was like you go girl! Meanwhile Fengran is looking at Houchi like where'd you get all that power from suddenly :), she's bewildered but she just went with it. XiMu is standing there like that's my future baby mama for sure. :) This is a series that I come back to because the storyline, acting, costumes, pacing, just everything were all so good. It gave me characters I wanted to root for, especially Shagu/Houchi and Fengran and her prince. I wanted Tinchi to get a love interest and was hoping the Goddess who'd loved him would also come back to life and they could get together, alas that didn't happen. Just an awesome drama!

This drama is alright. It does have a lot of good exciting action scenes, humorous scenes and even sad ones. But, there are some parts I didn’t like when it came to deceit by friends and lovers and lying for their own selfish reasons. It could have been a lot better. I give in 7 stars out of 10.

i just find these people despicable. even if a goddess is weak, as long as he/she did not do anything wrong, he/she deserves respect. Ziyuan is still cultivating, Jingzhao is just a princess, even after 10k years she hasn't climbed up the rank in cultivation. the power she has is only because of the golden umbrella given by her father. power aside, they both should be beaten till they are able to reverse this attitude.

In the book. Dong Hua bow to Houchi (which it didn't happened here) here 'coz he feels the power Houchi hold in here. He is also the on that defend Feng Ran fan accusation. In the book Shanggu insult Dong Hua long stairs (since Houchi use that stairs to climb 'coz she don't have any power left but when she heard the commotion, she uses here bracelet) and order him to change the stairs hahahhaha. So sad they didn't add that scene. lol Also, Qing Mu is not supposed to be in this since. In the book they saw each other in Mount lookout where Bai Jue cultivates, and their first encounter is chaotic since Qing Mu is awed by Feng Ran because of her power and not in Houchi hahahah
