Well, normally theres extreme abuse and the woman is always being physically hurt. Here, however, they were just stalemated and he was the typical husband who thought she was having a tantrum and wouldnt go through with the divorce because she was a naive person. He didnt abuse her and she didnt abuse him but they just took each other for granted and were both tired of it, he was just willing to live with it where as she wasnt. Its a pretty good show with 3 FL ( I think, I havent watched the entire show myself except several amazing scenes). I would recommend it if you havent watched it because it it one of the rare gems from the clips I have watched.

I don't understand the mother's adamance for the daughter to get back with her ex-husband. The man does not want children! Her daughter does! That's not something you can gloss over or dismiss. Men can make children well into their elder years. With updates in the medical world there's a little bit more time but why waste your hoping eventually your partner will change their mind? Why not just find someone who wants the same things in life that you do?
