didn't he tell the other girl that he "loathed" Lin Xi? he said that. and she didn't once think to confront him about that. this is silly

Confront, why? If you saw the whole series you would know that she was forced into not just his life but his home and school. And she forced herself on him as a friend. Not liking her, but since he has to live with her and go to school with her, he hides the hate and tolerates her. He did nothing wrong up to this point.

@@kenmolinaro I have not watched the series; so I am curious why he is upset/sad that she does not want to talk to him? If he does not even like her, why try to contact her? Just wondering.

@@jenniferhuff4895 She only heard half the conversation. When he rejects the other girl, and she asks if it is because of the FL, he starts off saying bad things about the FL. He is describing how he felt when she first showed up in his life. FL then runs off not wanting to hear more. But then he says as he got to know the FL.... and says a bunch of nice things about her, because that is how he feels now.
