Dan is a legit viable character. Look at his frame data. Nearly all his normals are + on block.

Hi, I used to main Dan until AE, his normals mostly being + on block doesn't mean much when most of his normals are fucking awful to begin with. He is not a "legit viable character". He has his strengths, but his weaknesses far outnumber anything he has going for him which leaves him with a tremendous amount of bad matchups (the worst being Zangief, Hugo and T-Hawk as he loses his pressure tools). I'm not saying it's impossible to win, I've kicked the shit out of people with him, but he's not a hard character to dissect.
