Yangs damage output is pathetic. He gets 5 different hit strings in, 30% damage. Ken gets one hit string in, 60% damage. What a joke

Mago is such a great player, but yang is so weak. You can see he has to be almost twice as good as momochi in reads and execution.

+Bee J Mago has immense knowledge about characters. He wants to win, he wouldn't pick a WEAK character if he thought it would inhibit his ability to win. Simply put, momochi outplayed him.

BoundlessLamb If you watch Topanga tv or read Mago's blog, you can see that he uses Yang because he thinks yang is fun, more interesting for the viewers and that he thought yang has potential to be viable. Top Japanese players agree that yang can be viable but is nowhere near the top tier. chigesoku3.doorblog.jp/archives/44144554.html In this twitter post Mago is incredibly happy that he was able to win Hype Spotting, because he said he has been using yang for 6 months, but he kept hitting a wall and the character was giving him a lot of trouble. Think of how quickly Mago picked up fei long and dominated, or how quickly kazunoko and daigo could become top with Yun. Basically, Mago uses yang because he likes the character. No player of that caliber would struggle and comtemplate giving up on a character that was truly strong. You will never see any player counterpick with Yang, simple as that. I don't see Mago doing well at Capcom Cup, because he is limiting himself with this character.

Literally every time I watch Mago, he plays against some boring ass character and gets wrecked...I wish shotos weren't so dominant in this game >_< Props to Momochi tho, Mago did get outplayed
