Sir I was operated for chocolate cyst in left ovary and endometriosis was detected during laparoscopic surgery a year ago. A tubu ovarian lesion fluid filled is 7cm is found, the lesion has grown post surgery. I have lot of pain and discomfort. Wish to consult with you. Could you please guide

Thank you…question though. I’ve had two sets of ultrasounds one week apart. I’ve had constant, dull cramping on left side, right in area of ovary. I had this cramping and Doctor felt enlargement during pelvic exam, and ordered the ultrasound. They couldn’t find my left ovary on any ultrasound (2 pelvic and 2 intravaginal) found cysts and lesions on right ovary, but I have no pain at all on that side. Constant cramping pain and hugely bloated stomach (look pregnant!) I had my uterus removed 9 years ago. I’m concerned about the undetectable left ovary, but constant cramping, lower back pain, huge stomach and fatigue. Feel it’s unresolved. Area that doctor felt enlargement in was never resolved. Any suggestions? Shouldn’t the left ovary at least be located?

Thanks, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I just go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Cyst Guide and now I feel as light and relaxed as I've ever been.

Hi. Thanks for watching Viraj. Difficult to differentiate but history, related findings of chocolate cysts can help. One key direct feature can be wall thickening and wall hyperaemia on colour Doppler that is seen in Pyosalpinx but not in hydrosalpinx or Hematosalpinx- here is a good article on fallopian tubes imaging that describes this sign. pubs.rsna.org/doi/full/10.1148/rg.2020200051
