I just bought my third pair of this exact style of boot because they are the driest and longest lasting boots I have ever owned. Tip....buy them 1/2 size smaller then your regular fit and throw the liners away I have wore these all year round from heat to cold and they have kept my feet comfortable from 15 f to 90 f and have never leaked and that's having worked many days in mud, water and snow.

I bought the in 8.5 and like you said they only fit with the liners, my shoe size is 8.5 and yup they are too big

I totally agree. I am a female and usually wear women's size 12R, so thought I would need a 12 or 12.5. Typically, I've heard its a good rule of thumb to buy boots 1/2 size larger (to allow for thick socks and possibly a sole cushion). Luckily, I bought mine in an Army store where I could try them on before buying them. Turns out that they do appear to run 1/2-1 size large, as 12's were too large, but the 11.5 was perfect. Best part was I got them at the bargain basement price of only $30, so I do recommend checking with your local Army surplus store before going elsewhere on them. As with you, Brian, I feel they may be the best all-around work/hiking boots I've ever owned. Now that we're we're well into the American Civil War 2.0, here in March, 2021, I'll need them!

I bought a pair of the same style Belleville boots (non steel toe) with the inserts, 2 years ago - $59.99 total, off ebay. What a blessing! Excellent boots they are - very comfortable and warm. My feet don't get the slightest bit cold or wet walking in the snow, and deep puddles are no problem.

Thank God for your comment. I was looking for an honest performance evaluation of a boot, not a realtime parenting tutorial. I just bought a pair at Dalton's Discount in Monroe LA.

I have the same boots!! These are awesome! I use them all the time to shovel snow in upstate NY so they work well 👌

Excellent review, sir! I just purchased my first pair of these at an Army surplus store, and love them. Agree, they do run a 1/2 large, so I recommend if you can't try them on first, go with 1/2 size smaller than the shoe size you usually wear. God bless Canada, you and your family through these unprecedented times.

Best duty boots I have ever worn in uniform. Blisters are now a thing of the past and my feet are finally warm, dry and don't look like raisins when I take off my boots. Just remember to order 1/2 to 1 full size smaller than your normal size per the manufacturer.

Thanks for the comment bro

That’s interesting because the instructions on the specific boot say wear larger to accommodate swelling

The Gortex will make your feet sweat, they will not dissipate your moisture, your feet will be cold. They are issuing liners to get rid of the moisture that accumulates and causes your feet to be cold.

The letter at the end of the model number is the width of the boot if I am not mistaken. R=regular, N=narrow, and so on. I want a pair of these!

Roberts bushcraft thanks man they are nice boots. if you get them buy them a half a size smaller than your shoe size also iv noticed in warmer weather they tend to make your feet sweat, at least they do with the liners in.

I bough the 390 hot weather black leather version of this boots but I feel like even when the boot it’s lace up I feel a bit lose the heel when I walk and I’m wearing the right size anyone knows if this happens to all the Belleville boots?

I heart also about this problem
@carlosleonardogomezhidalgo15733 күн бұрын
@ I quick update the problem fixed by itself you just need to wear them everyday and eventually you won’t have that issue I think it’s because they were new and my feet was adapting to the boot
