I've always loved Usher. I remember when he first came out with his first video (Can You Get Wit It ), he was 16 years old back then and I was in my teens also, I had a major crush on him back then, he was definitely a cutie, but I was a kid myself. I've always loved every single album he made. Usher have always been on top. He has made hits, after hits over the years and never have he ever disappointed his fans. Usher is that dude and true gentleman and he will always be my my favorite male artists.

The way Usher explained this song in an interview is that by "Bad Habits", he means harmful actions that are the result of unresolved trauma that we still carry with us. I interpreted the dancers in the video to be representations of his unresolved issues, that come out every now and then. Cheating of course is never okay. But I don't think he is just trying to dismiss cheating as a "bad habit." I think the point he is trying to make is that if we don't address trauma and actively work to heal from it, then we cannot love in a healthy manner, no matter how much we may want to. We may even engage in self-destructive habits, such as cheating, because we have not properly dealt with issues from our past.
