Love this. Not only daughter and father doing some great work but to see a female absolutely rocking engineering and mechanical skills. Working in motorsport I’m a big advocate for more diversity in ability. Keep it up 👍🏼 That’s gonna be loud!!! Don’t fancy fitting up some sills for and old Ferrari do you 😂

Patience is the virtue ! My goodness what a task ! Hate to think what this would cost retail . Holding that disc cutter steady takes some control . Remind me to only say the nicest things to you if we should meet ! Another step in the right direction , well done . Take care and stay safe.

I hate doing exhaust work. I'm so glad there are people like you both that have the fabrication skills to do this. Just a bit too far from Cleveland, Ohio, USA for me to bring my GTI.

Great job excellent work always interests me to see other peoples approach to making something from scratch, 2 things i noticed having built alot of drift car exhaust systems is i would consider a flexi just after the down pipe normally i mount the downpipe to the gearbox and run a flexi directly after to allow the exhaust to move if you go off track or hit it some other way. Also in my experience its better to hide the tip further inside the bumper and use a downturn to direct the heat away. That way if you tap a wall or a tyre bale someone hits you the exposed exhuast tip dosnt act like a gaint leaver and destroy the whole exhaust. Either way top work

Id say invest in a rivnut gun and you can rivnut those cotton reels onto the underbody without much interference to the interior compared to drilling 👍👍👍

Great Job and nice work, Most cars have a flexible bit after the down pipe elbow, why didn't you put something like that? or are the rubber mountings sufficient enough? Also can't wait to hear the exhaust, I bet it will sound good.

Great work. I've never welded any thin walled stainless tubing like that before. I might have an application that requires it. I was wondering if I could ask your advice on what settings you use? Also do you think it would be advantageous/neccesary to back purge the inside of the tubing? Thanks!

In the beginning of the video you said the 3 bolts on the turbo's exhaust are 94x105x105mm apart. I checked in my TD04H15g and its does not seem to match that. Different turbo?
