I viewed a mk 2 escort 2 day 2 dr from south africa rolling shell wants floors and bulk head welding but noticed were inner wing is fixed to bulk head in places u can see day light through sum of the gaps is this normal ?

omg awesome shrinker/stretcher.Could you tell more about it?

Hi, i built my shrinker / stretcher as i needed one with a more deeper throat and a bit more heavy duty, it seems to work very well, i just have to keep the moving parts well oiled and greased as well as the dies, thanks Steve.

Hi loving the build, if you dont mind me asking what front chassis legs did you use on the red mk2 rally car build? are they reproductions like magnums or are they the strengthened motorsport-tools rally ones, thanks Rich

Hi Richard, they are the magnum panel replacements which we fitted crush tubes etc, thanks Steve.

@@usherengineering179 How do you fit crush tubes? Do you cut out a segment at the front of the leg and replace the segment with the tube?

Hi the chassis legs are open on the side facing the inner wing so we welded crush tubes in place and drilled through so that a long nut and bolt can be fitted.

Hi Leslie, the panels are made by magnum in this build, they are good quality and fit quite well.
