I have tears from laughing throughout this. His face is so funny when she starts to ask him about getting into acting and he says his mother was a great actress, and Ushi says "thank you" and cuts him off. Bloody hilarious.

I saw this years ago, and it was hilarious. Watching it the second time around it's even funnier ... and poignant. More than brilliant comedy, as the 'interview' progresses, it's growing into a work of art and life. Adorable Ushi, disarmingly humane Harry, this mere quarter of an hour is filled with tears of laughter and emotion. Harry Lagman's greatest role was being himself.

I guess Mr. Hagman was a really, really nice guy. In spite of his right-wing leanings. I can take them from a guy like him. Wendy's trick borders on cruelty, though. As an old man, the perceptive capacities of Mr. Hagman weren't as they used to be. The good thing is that Wendy seems to instantly recognize and appreciate this. That's why the 'interview' has remained as respectful as it has turned out to be. At the end she really cares that Mr. Hagman does not feel a complete fool. So kudo to Mrs. Wendy.
