Maquoketa Iowa is a place I’m a bit familiar with since I was born and grew up in Carroll County Illinois which is just across the river from Jackson County Iowa . I do have a lot of trouble with spelling it though. 😢

I am a New York City native and I attended the University of Iowa, for four years, while earning my undergraduate degree. The corn fields are beautiful and grand. Farm houses are oftentimes beautiful and the farms are frequently inspiring. I do not recall any noteworthy architecture. Just between us, the food is bland and uninspiring.
