It's a 17x7.6 HD Fujinon zoom, but the system will work with any B4 mount lens. This particular lens was just one that I had handy.

12 years later, but how do you get the VTR button on the lens (aka Start/Stop) to work with the camera? How does it plug in? I have a Canon ENG B4 lens for a Sony BVP-30 that I want to use with an AF100.

Hi there, I am seriously considering purchasing the HDx2. I'm in the process of building basically the exact set-up you have but replacing the AF-100 with a Red Scarlet. I have a few questions about servo/camera power in relation to the set-up with the Scarlet as opposed to the Af-100 and was wondering who the best person would be from AbelCine to talk to. Great vid - gave myself more faith in the 4/3 ENG possibilities.

Hi, which lens have you attempt to mount on it, maybe a too wide angle zoom lens? I would know because i'm considering to buy the same adapter for my GH2 in order to mount on it my fujinon 13x4,5, but i'm afraid that also with the 2x extender on, i could have the same problem of you...Thx. Andy

Looking for something like this for my Sony fs100. Back in the day, I was using a Sony digibeta camera, yes tape, and would love to get my hands on a fujinon lens and adapter. Would this adapter work?

Hey I just bought a bag-af100 I was in the middle of directing my first documentary and the so called production company I was using folded. So with little money left more than halfway into filming and my footage now in the ether and not wanting to give up I bought the most practical camera for my $ and I’m wondering if you have any prototypes of this amazing setup you would want to part with?

Not an AC exclusive at all. I bought a 2/3: B4 to MFT, no silly stop in PL land. The adapter cost me $250 from EBay. Herose to D-tap cable was $69.00. Added a simple rodset/riser and slapped on an old 2/3" lens that has a 2x doubler. Guess what. IT WORKS GREAT. NO VIGNETTING (in the 2X mode). I love AC but happy to save the $12.000. Pix is excellent.

Great....but price point is way off....Cheaper versions elsewhere OR...Why not buy a second hand HDCAM body & dock a atmos recorder....I have F900 with SDI out...cost £2250 for the body with HD over SDI out...already have the lenses...zooms just like...well an ENG camera... ahhh welcome back.

I was interested in a used F900 myself, what's the picture quality like in terms of sharpness and dynamic range?
@Nyquest10 жыл бұрын
Picture is fantastic...there is a lot of control within the menu system but I found a preset flat profile that I use with my Ki Pro mini as the recorder...BM Broadcast URSA will be out soon & for me its the answer.
@TVperson110 жыл бұрын
Nyquest Thanks for the reply, I was thinking of an URSA camera myself, but it uses the same sensor as the BM 4K camera which has issues with fixed pattern noise.
@Nyquest10 жыл бұрын
The fixed pattern noise is reduced greatly in video mode..along wth a few further updates due shouldn't be a prob for ENG shooting..I guess the broadcast URSA will be used more in that mode than film anyway.
