Your leather shouldn’t be that wet. You can put it water for about a minute then take it out and allow it to dry about 5-10mins then use the stamp the impression will be a lot better

For a minute in water, you need to leave it for a good hour plus

Minute 0.43 , i am pretty sure it is autdesk fusion360, and not adobe

Fusion 360 is an Autocad product. Not Adobe. Adobe makes Dimensions.

Good video. Running it over with the car made me laugh out loud. I tried this once (not the car), but I was trying to cram too much detail into too small of a stamp, so it didn't look good at all. Curious if you used top layer ironing on your prints?

I have a question. Can you gold foil stamp leather without heat using 3D printed stamps?

I have the same arbor press and it is great for doing stamping. The water being pushed out in your stampings says that the leather is too wet--needs to absorb more after wetting and you should get great impressions!

I am always doing tests to try new things with my leather. You gave me a very good view of the 3D printing option. It is still a pretty good option for certain things. Faster and cheaper. Thank you so much!!

Did you print with 100% infill. Also if you sand the stamps a little before use you wont get the print lines.

Hi, congratulations on your work! I would like to know the 3D printing setup you used for the hamburger stamp as the model is no longer available in the description. Thank you!

The Econofil PLA we use tends to print best at 220°C with a 60°C bed temperature. I played it safe and printed it completely solid (100% fill) for this. The hamburger protrudes 3mm off the surface of the base block, and the block itself is 6mm thick. Hope that helps!

That deer logo would probably work fine on the 1-ton arbor press if you added a hefty draft angle to the design. Maybe 15 degrees?

Just dip the leather in water for a few seconds and let it get almost back to it’s original color before pressing.

Use sand paper on a flat surface before stamping those lines will disappear ;)

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but some people sand the stamps down with fine grit paper to get rid of the print lines. Have you by any chance tried making 3D prints for wet molding? I'm not too familiar with how 3D filament (or 3D printing) stands up to moisture. Thank you for the vid! Great content.

I sanded it down a bit but definitely should have done it a bit more! That's a great tip. I will definitely make a video on 3D printing for wet molding in the future.

you can do it with faux leather? will the stamp stand the heat?

no 3D printed stamps can't take any heat. and faux leather would only work with hot stamping.
