I just shared your channel on our facebook driver page. Lots of drivers are asking about my new ebike set up and we are all fed up with high gas prices and car break downs. I hope this helps grow your channel ❤

@@dandeliondreams123 you’re so kind!! Thank you so much! Yea gas prices suck which is one of the reasons why I stopped using my car for deliveries.

Definitely not a delivery bike but a good commuter for people who live in apartments with landlords who hate e-bikes. (Very common here in NYC) Also good for people who live on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Very lightweight bike.

I got a stepover likebike seeker and I do deliveries in it, I usually have the 2 speed when idle and 3 when I'm delivering to safe energy. The battery is decent but I like it so far

I started following your example when food delivery, like using a towel to cover the drinks, cuz I once had a mishap where the lid popped off in my food delivery bag and it spilled all over the place

You could easily and cheaply add a 2nd battery. Maybe a 36v 20 or 30Ah.
@danielg70234 ай бұрын
Bro you can hold on to the + n - setting to increase your max speed to 32 mph instead of the factory setting of 20mph that should help you be safe and good luck. 😊
@Raspyrides4 ай бұрын
@@danielg7023 have you done it on this bike? And have you tested the speed on a phone’s gps app? A lot of times, the speed may change on the display but not ACTUALLY change.

I odered the same bike. I used to do both Uber and UberEats. I might try this out to make a few extra bucks and have some fun. I assume that Uber and the other delivery apps take into account that you're on a bike when determining which orders, distances, and delivery times would work for you?

I've only used it for neighborhood errands, so I haven't pushed it, but love the bike! I haven't been on a bike for years, so I started out a little unsteady, and I even had an embarrassing fall, but I'm better now. I just got on the Uber and Doordash platforms and selected "bike" for my vehicle, but it appears GrubHub does not offer that option in my city, although they do offer a motor scooter option, but you need insurance for those. I'll get out there soon to see how I do.

if you get your hands on a Aventure.2 Ebike you should review them, believe it or not it is a snow city rated commuter bike and no one has done an snow or non snow uber-eats YT run on the bike that i am aware of. other note they are 60 mile range bikes for the cost of 2,000 cost. while i was looking at local shops they have them in stock. with an nice looking 2.3 hr 0-100 charge rate they are really tempting to get in my debate over getting that A8 Pro Max 52V Dual Motor Ebike since that pound max of the bike looks really sketch when dealing with snowy city commutes.

How do you throttle? You just twist and hold? I try to get that initial burst of torque then let go to coast and repeat after i drop a couple mph or if i want to maintain speed I'll constantly just twist the throttle enough to send a signal to the controller and let go over and over
@Raspyrides5 ай бұрын
@@andyfumo8931 this bike has a thumb throttle. I’ll hold down the throttle while and pedal at the same time to help the bike get going.

Can you deduct mileages for tax like cars when you use bike to delivery?
@Raspyrides5 ай бұрын
@@MegaThepow not sure. I just let my tax guy do his magic and I usually pay very little in taxes lol

@MegaThepow you can not. But you can deduct the cost of the bike, bag, gear, etc. Obviously, not every tax year. A one-time deduction for a given piece of equipment.

You need at least two batteries minimum. Deliveries need to be at top speed to make money fast.

That is a hub drive ebike and it will be difficult to ride with a dead battery. You will be driving home slow when you can be making money with extra batteries.
