Yes! Save me a lot of problems with producing my own power!

i hope you will try it again with a much heavy duty and high wattage boost converter, more power to your channel!!!

More power to you too! Sounds like Star wars! Il like it!

Nice idea..

It's working , but needs a really strong boost converter

I just watch your video. I think if you want to use battery pack on that Inverter you need supply enough voltage. you should check the manufacturers starting voltage of the inverter. In my case my inverter starting voltage is 22-60v but they advice to use 26V as starting voltage. The batteries i used is three 12v in series = 36v 100ah

Yep! I'm thinking and saving for a 48V LiFePo4 24s , for now they are to expensive ...Thanks for comment!

@@viocaia much better if you do that than experimenting and not following the user manual because worse case senario is you might have some problems in your inverter the future using wrong method power supply of voltage

can we connect multiple boost converters in string to get higher voltage in this case?
@viocaia2 жыл бұрын
kind of strange..but I think you can..
@viocaia2 жыл бұрын
I think you can, but should be related to different batteries..you simply can not use the same battery with more converters and series the outputs..

The test shows it's doable the GTIL 2 can use batteries with the use of boost converter.

Yes!
@heroldalipio3993 жыл бұрын
Is this doable? I mean if u use an ac dc adaptor then feed to gti, my questiion is does the consume power by the ac dc adaptor can be covered by the output produce by the gt invertr?
@viocaia3 жыл бұрын
It's a DC to DC boost converter , nothing to do with Ac (alternative current!)..SO the boost converter takes 12V from Lead acid batteries and rise the voltage to 36V..Ongrid inverter is working between 22 and 65V..but there is need for much powerful boost then QSJK 150W..but it's working...

No, your talking about perpetual energy. Every conversion has losses, so no it will not cover its own load.
@francisdoll12534 жыл бұрын
This have an efficiency of 65%, this means 35% loss of energy,that's very bad

All I can say is I have 950Wh on 40V , 22Ah average, SUN GTIL2 gives like 600Wh average..I had peaks of 800, even more, power measured by Sonoof POW2 after inverter output...this are facts , you do the math.
@viocaia4 жыл бұрын
BTW, how much power you have in the panels..? I have 950Wh, but rarely I can see 700Wh from inverter.is more like 600-650Wh..
@viocaia3 жыл бұрын
Hey again! I did some statistics and I found that you are right about a 65% general efficiency, but the inverter itself goes to 86%..so I found out let's say from 1000Wh PV will get only 650 around..see here..kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3rRaGWgj9Omlbc

dont buy this thing its very bad. you cant change the settings on it. the production is lower than other converters too. i bought solis inverter after this and it has much better output in lower sun light and has better build quality. dont compromise your budget on converters. the mppt tracking on this is just shit.

I can't say you're wrong because I didn't used any other model..with limiter I mean..for me it's good enough.Please let us know what kind of inverter are you using , post a link.Thanks!
