Hi, as always very interesting work. My suggestions - record your set variables such as Inlet pressure, temperature and flow rate. It would help other engineers comparing designs. I would also suggest robert Murray Smith's KZbin videos on sizing a generator.

Thank you for your comment and also for your suggestion In fact, the steam pressure of the boiler tank is 10 bar, and the temperature is approximately 160 degrees, and according to the nozzle hole, the speed is 40 meters per second.

@@fixedfocussolar excellent, may I ask how you calculated velocity from the hole size?
@fixedfocussolar4 ай бұрын
@@samuelknight5512 with the relation v_2 = sqrt(2 * P_1 / P_2 * R_1 / R_2)

Good job, but you did measure the off-load voltage which will drop with a load connected. Try measuring amps and voltage at the same time, with a load, for a realistic power rating. I'm sure it's still a lot 🙂

Thank you for your nice comment In direct current electricity circuits, to determine the value of W, the OPEN voltage is first measured, and then the short circuit current is measured, and these two are multiplied together, and this is the best method to determine the power of a power source, of course, there is another method for powerful batteries. has it It should be noted that in the case of short circuit and current measurement, the voltage will be zero

They are not practical both as dc motors and generators for prolonged use because they are not brushless (the brush switch will wear greatly over time). But for short-time application it is a good solution.

Display please steam pressure and consumption of steam per second? Good Demo but incomplete for learners

In the previous videos, the pressure was shown, but it was very repetitive In this video, the pressure is 10 bar and the mass coming out of the nozzle is approximately 0.8 g/s.
