An Endovenous duplex scan maps all of your veins and identifies any veins that may be damaged. Every person who has skin changes or leg ulcers should be offered this in order to determine that their problem is venous or not. Laser of damaged veins or Perforators can then be performed. Unfortunately this is not offered in the UK unless you fight for it or pay privately.

Shouldn't a patient ideally wear much looser fitting pants to have this scan done? It's like a woman wearing a pr of skinny jeans to do same.
