Tried this with my die grinder with a small rubber sanding disc wheel, was a bit too much rpm, made the tire balloon enough to slip out of the notches on the rim lol

What kind of distance have you been able to achieve with the Dremel??

A little more than 8 feet.

Does anywhere sell the rip cords separately? I got my Evel biker but lost the rip cord.

I’m afraid not. The price of the bikes has come down to less than 13 bucks on the evelknieveltoys.com website. A new one will get you two more rip cords. That said, I got a cordless dremel tool at Harbor Freight that spins at 30,000 rpm. Using the dremel tool, I never need to worry about losing or stripping rip cords again.

Does the rip cord bike jump better (farther) than the stuntcycle ? To me, the original stuntcycle jumped a lot better than the remakes. I have two of the remakes. Not sure about the rip cord version.

Based on the size difference between the stunt cycle and rip cord cycle, the stunt cycle will jump much farther. I enjoy both. The rip cord version is perfect for indoor jumps and the stunt cycle is what I prefer for outdoor jumps.

@@JeffBartelsKnievelJumps, in regards to the stunt cycle, do you own both the "original" style remake (white) and the trail bike version? If so, is there a difference in their performance? Thank you!

@@Squank63 I have both. I've not noticed a difference in their performance. That said, the original-style bike is easy to open up (held together with screws) to extract debris and swap parts if needed. The original style bike also uses plastic bushings on the flywheel, making it more durable (with heavy use) than the trail bike. Can't go wrong with either!
