I remember back in wood shop years ago getting hit by a piece of wood not clamped down. From that day on everything gets clamped down now. Using that bit is a real step saver. Slick idea Matthew

Excellent idea! I learned early on that Forstner Bits are not to be taken lightly! I was boring large holes in doors and had to use a hand drill. It nearly pulled my arm off! Thanks for the tip!

What if a chuck has tapered/dovetail arms. Will they still clamp on a straight hole like you show
