When I want to do green screen I record the video in Keynote with the background green and the camera set to remove background so I get video of just me on a green background. I use Final Cut Pro so I use the Keyer plugin but the same job is easy in iMovie. Of course, I can also record audio with it. When done I export the recording as movie.

Coincidentally, I’ve been trying to learn how to shoot videos of myself and, specifically, how to use the green screen feature - I posted a question about this on one of your other videos which you very kindly answered. I do that in the app I use for video production (ScreenFlow). You can do something similar using iMovie like I show here, but the problem is you need more than the two layers that iMovie provides (me, shape, video background). You can do it in Keynote though: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp-wZ5ihbc2Bd9U
