pretty late to say this but its possible that the water physics is also part of the reason that there was never any fire. the water, despite being inhumanly hot, is still water and thus distributes heat to some level, enough to somehow put out and prevent fire, though this doesn't make sense as any amount of heat of that level would spark a fire, though this water clearly doesnt follow physics. regardless the water is so hot that most if not all living things should immediately disintegrate or have their bodies reduced to burning hot sludge, as the water is hot enough to melt metal
