I always forget to VOIP when I play in groups, but solos I do it a lot. Sometimes I show mercy, sometimes the fight is on regardless, but VOIP just helps add some dynamism into the game. Those moments are always so memorable

@@bbbbbbb51 I used to be a majority Rust player so VOIPing is like first hand nature too me, being able to talk to people while fighting is amazing, because sometimes you realize you don't really need to kill each other and you can just go on your own ways lol pretty great

Stankrat you would've been proud at what my brothers and i have been doing. I needed bolty kills from 80+ meters away so i got my brother to get on his alt account and pretend to fight horribly and die. Then as they go to loot his body i'm somewhere far away in a bush waiting for him to take the bait. My brother will go on one of the ramps at emercom on interchange and try to die to pmc's and it works every time. Also, while i was in that same spot, i saw a 4 man running to emercom extract and was about to shoot one of the guys that went prone in the extract. Well his buddy gets in front of him and pushes him back so he got shot in the head instead. Imagine having all 3 guys out but one of you dies to a bush rat lol

i really wish i caught the beginning convo about the slow game play on livestream because i def would have been talking to you about it.. i feel like you are right that the majority of EFT players will not enjoy a "connected map" experience now because of the fact that its just been this way for so long now that most of the daily players have just gotten used to the meta and would be against any extreme change at this point, regardless of what it is. weight change? no. armor change? no. inertia change? no. ammo change? no. every change has created such a divide in the community. OGs, "it used to be better" or Timmies, "whats a cheese", it dont matter. Cant please everyone. I just want them to continue with their original vision for the game because so far its been the best thing to ever be released. as a player or a viewer. period. ok, im drunk, in the morning. good night.

Personally, I trust where BSG have taken the game and want to take it in the future. Connected map & pmc factions with incentives to not kill members of your own sound exciting to me. I like that Tarkov has slowly become more tactical & I hope they continue to push it in that direction. I think his point about the interconnected map encouraging more tactical play that focuses on your own survival is definitely true. Nobody is going to want to run through a map or 2 to hit labs and just w key it. All that is a looooong ways off though. They still have to figure out how loot would respawn, all the extracts would work, give each trader an in-raid location like LK, and make it run on a technical level to begin with. I'd love for it to happen, but I'm not confident it ever will. I understand they may not want to split the playerbase, but I have a hard time seeing them scrapping the current design completely. A lot of players like how it is now and wouldn't stick around the more DayZ like it gets.

The pmc encounters are just not dynamic at all and cannot be until they change the raid / time system and stop spawning every pmc at the same time. Make servers up for hours and reset loot when nobody is around. The cycle did it well

The interchange discussion is a good point. I have 3k hours and all of them are on interchange. I only play interchange and I W key. I’ve never done any quests past jaeger and I’ve played 5 wipes. I was under the impression (4 years ago) that in order to play arena you would have to cross through certain maps. Same for labs

Nah stitch maps together just makes game more aggravating and time consuming. Already have to wait 5 to ten mins to get into a raid on a good day much less having to do that multiple times just to get to my stash. Crazy😂

if they split the game modes so u have a different stash for combined and raids like now. they could do combined maps like Dayz where its a live server that just has the maps going all the time with no timer on your raid. and you have to have a physical hideout somewhere on the giant map.

Honestly - shit like this made me quit tarkov for good. No bad feelings, just saying, half of pmc are now hiding for 30 minutes, waiting for this one guys who is stupid enough to run around map and collect things, killing scavs, doing tasks. Rat is waiting for whatever he will collect. You guys have no life? 30 minutes waiting in grass, just for some loot. We all have tons of cash, this game should be more about fun, but if You really have fun, ratting, well, have fun :)

Game gets boring when you die to player scavs, that have more raids or just as much as their pmc. Oh hey I just killed the boss! Okay good luck against an 8 man of player scavs. Hope you aren't out of ammo. I don't scav because I think the mechanic hurts the game. We have the scav box in the hide out. Making it more accessible and profitable would negate the need for player scavs.
